PLANT A TREE
WE PLANT TREES FOR THE CLIMATE AND FOR THE CHILDREN

PLANT TREES IN UGANDA.
We plant trees locally in one of our project in Uganda and take care of it after.

Uganda has a rapidly growing population, which is putting a great deal of stress on the Country`s forests by increasing demand for firewood, pushing agricultural expansion, and expanding land settlement.

Support Reforestation by planting trees where they are needed most.

WHY PLANT TREES IN UGANDA?
Uganda now has one of the highest rates of deforestation in the World. In many parts of Uganda, much of the forest has been cleared for charcoal production, degrading wildlife habitat and presenting a hardship for local farmers. Planting trees will restore what has been lost to deforestation.

PLANT FRUIT TREES.
Fruit trees are the ultimate double-duty plant, providing food for the people, birds, and insects as well as plenty of places to shelter and nest.

Fruit trees will also produce food even during difficult times when other garden produce may be hard to obtain. Together we can plant fruit trees for the orphans and needy in Uganda Africa.

PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES.
Uganda is one of the most biologically diverse countries in Africa. Home to endangered species like Chimpanzees, wild dogs, and most of the region`s endemic bird species, planting trees here gives them a better chance of survival.

AIR
Trees help to clean the air we breathe. Though their leaves and bark, they absorb harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen for us to breathe. In urban environments and other ecosystems, tree absorb pollutant gases such as nitrogen oxide, and carbon monoxide, and sweep up particles such as dust and smoke.

POSITIVE IMPACT
Every tree planted with children of Muga Elementary School makes a positive impact. Together, we can restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact.
